My name is Greg Clark and I am running for the office of Governing Board Member of the Gold Trail Union School District.

I was raised in El Dorado County and am a product of El Dorado High School. After high school, I went to UC Berkeley and earned a bachelor's degree before heading to law school at Santa Clara University School of Law. After practicing law in several Northern California counties, I opened my own law practice in Placerville last year.

I lived outside of El Dorado County with my wife, a Gold Trail graduate, and two wonderful daughters until the pandemic hit. Like many families, we took stock of our priorities. Reflecting on our childhoods and ahead to our children’s future, my wife and I decided to move back home and into the Gold Trail Union School District so that our children could have the same wonderful experience of loving teachers and strong community that we had when we grew up.

I am committed to making the Gold Trail Union School District the strongest district in the county. I believe that a high-quality education is the most important gift we can give to our children and community. I promise to put our community’s children’s safety and future at the forefront of my decision making as a Governing Board Member.
